Microdermabrasion
At Calm Beauty Co we offer tailor-made microdermabrasion treatments to suit each skin type and your skin care needs. The treatment combines the polishing action of genuine laser-cut diamond tips with the cleaning action of vacuum suction. The machine we use is one of the world’s leading Viora Ultra Derm microdermabrasion machines. The treatment is designed to gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells while increasing and stimulating blood flow to give your skin a glowing, refreshed appearance.
Removing these dead skin cells will encourage your skin cells turnover. The machine targets the epidermis which is your uppermost layer of skin. By buffing this layer your skincare products will be able to better reach the dermis layer of your skin, therefore product absorption and results will be much higher. Chemical Peels
We offer a variety of different Chemical Peels to suit all skin types. Chemical peels are topical agents that produce a superficial and precise removal of the skin. A controlled destruction of the outer skin layers (epidermis and upper dermis) is achieved, which is followed by skin repair and regeneration.
Our chemical peels produce a controlled wound that will result in skin renewal with the reduction or disappearance of sun damage, pigmentation, acne lesions, fine lines and wrinkles. Superficial depressed scars are softened and become less visible. The depth of the removal and results depend on the strength of the agents used. Below explains each peel in more depth.
Enzymatic Micro Peel
This peel is perfect if you have never experienced a chemical peel before or you’re new to the Skinstitut product range. It is also the peel solution for those who think their skin is too delicate for chemical exfoliation. The enzymatic micro peel can be performed on all skin types. We recommend this treatment for clients with sensitive skin to Calm the skin while gently exfoliating and strengthening. The main properties of this treatment include Calming, Clearing and Hydrating.
The ingredients used are designed to gently, micro-exfoliate the skin and contain Papain Enzymes to gently polish the skin without irritation. Vitamin B3 strengthens the immune defence while Chamomile, Vitamin B5, and Hyaluronic Acid help to soothe and hydrate. Peel Accelerator
This peel suits most skin types and is designed to renew, brighten, and smooth the skin. It is especially beneficial for clients with acne and acne-related symptoms and mild pigmentation. This peel can be further intensified for sun-damaged and photoaged skins with the addition of Vitamin C.

I introduce myself as Alissa but mostly go by Liss.
I'm the owner, founder and therapist of Calm Beauty Co. I'm a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist and have expanded my knowledge and training in this industry with the well-known Laser Clinics Australia Franchise. Completing my training in Laser Hair Removal and Advanced Skin Treatments. I have also completed training with Cecelia Cole Academy in Brow Mastery and Lash courses.
Opening my own salon has been a dream of mine for many years, and we have a high demand for these treatments in our small country town. Microdermabrasion
What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a skin treatment designed to superficially exfoliate the skin, creating a smoother and healthier appearance. It is a safe and non-invasive treatment with no downtime and immediate improvement in skin condition.

Is there any downtime?
No downtime, you may experience some redness to the skin which should subside within 24hrs after treatment.
How many treatments do I need?
The amount required will vary for every individual, our therapists will tailor make a treatment plan to suit the needs of your skin. We recommend a minimum of 6 treatments for your first initial treatment plan with 2-4 week intervals again this will vary for everyone. Chemical Peels
Is there any downtime?
Depending on which peel and the strength of the products used. Our enzymatic micro peel has no downtime. Peel accelerator and Ageless peel will have minimal downtime, we recommend using Skinstitut Repair Balm post-treatment to assist in the healing process.
How many treatments do I need?
Depending on which peel and the health of your skin. Our therapists will design a treatment plan to suit your needs and desired outcomes. Generally, these treatments will be performed in 4-week intervals.
Will my skin peel and what happens if it doesn't?
Each skin type will have a different reaction to our peels and it will also depend on your pre and post-treatment care. The peels we offer have very minimal peeling if any at all and your skin’s health will impact the reaction to the peel. Even if no peeling has occurred post-treatment your skin will still have visible results and will improve its overall appearance and health.
LED
What is LED?
Our LED uses special light that is packed full of energy in the form of photons. When LED light is applied to the skin, these photons penetrate into the skin to create cellular energy into a form the body can use called ATP it is then used by the body to promote healthy cellular functions – such as repair and regeneration processes. When cells are activated it promotes fibroblasts to produce increased collagen and also helps to stimulate the skin’s natural ability to start to heal, repair and rejuvenate. Different light wavelengths target the skin at different layers and this is how they are able to combat different skin concerns. For example Red light with the longest visible wavelength offers anti-ageing effects whilst Blue light is our shortest visible wavelength to target surface tissue to help eliminate p-acne bacteria and break the acne cycle.

LED Treatments require no downtime, which makes this treatment perfect for all occasions and maintenance.
How many treatments do I need?
